JAJANGMYEON

Today is the last two day of our trip. We have been here for five days. It's kind of hard to think that today is our last two days. We woke up, then we took the RTK test first like usual. However we went to bed late yesterday, that's why we woke up late today. When we woke up it was around 2pm. After we did the RTK test, we had a good shower. After taking showers, we ordered room service and enjoyed our breakfast and lunch in the hotel.


After we had our lunch, we went to Myeongdong to go shopping. It took about 8 minutes to get there by subway from our hotel. When we arrived at Myeongdong, we started our shopping trip there. After shopping, we were a little bit hungry, so we asked the local people where we could find famous Jajangmyeon . However, the local people recommended this restaurant called gaehwa to us.



This restaurant is located at 107-1 Myeongdong 2(i)-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul. Since the restaurant recommended to us by the local people was also in Myeongdong, we didn't have to waste money taking a taxi to that restaurant. We walked to the restaurant and it took us 5 minutes. 



When we arrived at the restaurant, we have a look on the menu, to see what we prefer. This restaurant serves three types of Jajangmyeon: Noodles with black soy bean sauce ₩6000 , Noodles with stir fried black soy bean sauce ₩6500, and Noodles with black soy bean sauce and seafood sauce ₩8500. Finally, we made a decision to eat in this restaurant due to the affordable price compared to other restaurants. We have ordered three types of Jajangmyeon in this restaurant as listed above.





After having our meal, we all fell in love with these three types of Jajangmyeon immediately. We left the restaurant and headed for the Myeongdong night market.

13th January 2022 It was our fourth day in Korea. As usual, in the morning, when we woke up, we did an RTK test to make sure we were safe. After that, we were planning to have lunch at a place where we could eat tteokbokki. Our friend Mei Chen said we can go to this particular restaurant, which is located at Sindang-dong, Seoul. The restaurant's name is Maboklim Wonjo Halmeonijip Tteokbokki. We travel from Lotte Hotel Seoul to Maboklim Wonjo Halmeonijip Ttokbokki by bus. It took us around 20 minutes to reach that restaurant. We were craving tteokbokki, which was recommended by our friend. After they bowed and welcomed us, the waitress instructed us to place our orders from the menu. We went there to taste their tteokbokki, and since we had a 20-minute bus ride, we got that along with hot teas. SAMGYETANG

15th January 2022 As it was our last day in Seoul, we took our time to get ready and check out of the hotel. We started our day by waking up around 9.00 am and taking our RTK test to make sure we were all good to go. We then took a shower to keep ourselves fresh and neat as we needed to check out of the hotel before 12.30 p.m. After we got ready, we packed up our things, had some light breakfast, which was the biscuits we bought, and left to check out the hotel before going to the restaurant where we planned to have our lunch. This place was also recommended by our friend Mei Chen ; we can get the famous samgyetang there. This shop is located at Jahan-ro 5-gil, Jongno-gu,Seoul. KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN

11th January 2022 The next day, we were so tired from the previous day of walking around and enjoying the street food. Unlike Penang, Seoul is much bigger and most of the people there prefer walking. We woke up around 12:30 p.m. and took our RTK test to make sure everyone was in good physical condition, and then we left for the famous Korean fried chicken restaurant in Hongdae, recommended by our friend, Mei Chen. We took a bus to the restaurant. The journey to the restaurant took about 22 minutes. Kyochon Chicken Dongdaemun is the best chicken restaurant in Korea that always serves the best Korean fried chicken. KyoChon 1991 is one of the largest fried chicken restaurant chains in South Korea. A while later , we reached the restaurant, took a look at the menu card, and ordered their signature Korean fried chicken. It cost around 16,044.32 South Korean won.
